Each item of a catalog may have an image, and after this image is specified, the application automatically processes it to fit the size and quality parameters set for the catalogue, deriving a preview picture and a close-view picture (original image is not affected). Thus, in order to submit an image for the item, the only thing you need is to specify the path to the original picture.

An up-to-date website is unlikely to exist without a number of images, carrying much more information than plain text does. To guarantee the best possible experience of dealing with images, both Visual Editor and Catalogue Module include a specific mechanism, which automatically processes original picture to get a preview image and close-view one shown on click.
